In an effort to increase market share for CataStak™ Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems, Nationwide Boiler has hired sales engineer Brett Barnes. After an extensive eight week training and product education course, Mr. Barnes will reside at Nationwide Boiler’s new Sacramento office where he will focus his efforts on assisting and supporting the company’s CataStak™ SCR products.
Mr. Barnes graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics, and brings over 23 years of burner industry experience to Nationwide Boiler. He began his career in the burner industry at Coen Company in 1990 as an Application Engineer, specializing in industrial retrofit sales projects and developing pricing and sizing tools to improve accuracy, efficiency and speed of burner pricing and sizing. He joined S.T. Johnson in 2010 as a Project/Sales Engineer and was later promoted to Sales Manager, specializing in commercial grade firetube boiler burner sales.
With his diverse portfolio and extensive sales experience within the low NOx market, Mr. Barnes will be responsible for increasing the sale of environmental products, including CataStak™ SCR systems for firetube and watertube package boilers, gas turbines and fired heaters, in addition to promoting ammonia-free SCR solutions to customers worldwide.
